Brexit Transition Period up to 31st Dec. 2020

Help has been receiving enquires about changes occurring after Brexit day which was yesterday. As far as we understand there is going to be very little change until the end of the transition period on 31st December 2020. Please see more details at UK Government site https://www.gov.uk/guidance/living-in-spain .

UK nationals living in Spain should follow previous advice which is get your residencia sorted and change your driving licence to a Spanish one. You can do this as before up to 31st December 2020. Failure to do this could have unintended consequences such as loss of healthcare rights and your UK pension may not be increased annually.

Help Benidorm has aquired Oxygen Concentrator for short term loan so visitors no longer need to hire one at great expense

Following several requests from people coming on holiday to Benidorm for an oxygen concentrator and the fact that it had to be hired at great expense to take sick people back to the UK.To hire one commercially it is about 450 euros a week with a 1,300 Euro deposit. We have decided to purchase our own machine for short term loan. It is a Respironics Evergo and is dual use either portable or mains operated for use overnight. Next Help Meeting 9th Jan 2020
